Acquire basic knowledge about autism and ask individual questions. This training was conducted by an experienced employee of the autism outpatient clinic of the University Hospital Dresden. The participants entered into an open exchange, whereby challenges and needs of people in the autism spectrum were addressed in order to be able to develop needs-oriented assistive technologies in the context of further research. The training not only provided knowledge about autism, but also opened a new perspective on this multifaceted topic. During the three-hour training, it was impressively conveyed how heterogeneous the requirements and needs of autistic people are that need to be supported.
