Declaration of Accessibility

The Chair of Human-Computer Interaction seeks to make its website published at and and accessible in accordance with Sächsisches Inklusionsgesetz (SächsInklusG) and Barrierefreie-Websites-Gesetz (BfWebG) in conjunction with the Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung (BITV 2.0). The BfWebG is supplemented by the Barrier-free Websites Ordinance (BfWebVO). These laws are written in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

Creation of this accessibility statement

This declaration was created on 14.02.2023 and last updated on 06.05.2024. The basis for the creation of this declaration on accessibility is a BITV self-assessment carried out on 03.05.2024.

Status of accessibility

The basis for accessibility is the internationally accepted Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at conformance level AA and the European standard EN 301 549, version 3.2.1. For PDF documents, the international standard PDF/UA-1 is also observed.

This website is partially compatible with the requirements of the BfWebG in conjunction with BITV 2.0, as it is still under development at the moment.

Please note that the use of our website with the Firefox browser on mobile devices is not supported and therefore we recommend the use of another browser for optimal display and functionality of our website.

Enforcement Procedure

You have submitted a request regarding the accessibility of our website under the above contact. If no satisfactory solution is found within a reasonable period of time (usually four weeks), you can contact the office of the State Representative for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities (Enforcement Office) at the Saxon State Chancellery, which is responsible for the enforcement procedure. The Enforcement Office supports out-of-court dispute resolution when conflicts arise between public bodies in Saxony and users of the websites or mobile applications. This mediation procedure is free of charge. The involvement of legal advice is not required.
